01 About this policy
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way. This policy explains how we use these technologies on:
- the vocali.lt information website;
- the med.vocali.lt platform for signed-in users.
02 The vocali.lt website
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how many people visit the website and which pages they read. GA4 is enabled only if you consent. Until then, we do not load its code, send analytics data to Google or set GA4 cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Storage period |
|---|---|---|
vocali_consent | Remembers your choice and a random browser identifier in local storage. Google does not receive this record. | Until you clear the website’s data |
_ga | A pseudonymous GA4 identifier used to distinguish visitors. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container ID> | Preserves the GA4 session state. | Up to 2 years |
GA4 may collect data about pages visited, approximate location, browser and device. Google truncates the IP address it receives. Advertising features are disabled on our website, and we do not use GA4 data to personalise advertising. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area subject to data-transfer safeguards.
We process analytics data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of the home page. Once consent is withdrawn, GA4 stops sending new data and its cookies are deleted. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
03 Record of your choice
When you select Accept or Decline, the decision is also recorded on Vocali’s server. This provides a history of your choices and allows us to demonstrate when and for what purpose consent was given or withdrawn (Article 7(1) GDPR).
We store a random browser identifier, your choice and its scope, the date and time, how the choice was made, an identifier of the notice text shown to you, the consent and policy versions, the language and, if generated, a one-way checksum of the IP address. The record does not contain your name, email address or the IP address itself, and it is not linked to a Vocali account. Records are kept for 3 years. Withdrawing consent does not delete an earlier record because it remains part of the consent history.
04 The med.vocali.lt platform
The platform uses the following cookies, which are necessary for sign-in and account security:
| Cookie | Purpose | Storage period |
|---|---|---|
access_token | Authenticates the signed-in user. Page code cannot read the cookie (HttpOnly), and it is sent only over an encrypted connection. | Until the browser session ends; the access token is valid for 12 hours |
vocali_td | If you choose to remember the device, links a random token to a successfully verified sign-in so that a code is not required next time. The cookie is HttpOnly and sent only over an encrypted connection. | Up to 14 days |
The platform also uses local storage and session storage to:
- remember your selected microphone, language, document form, onboarding progress and other interface choices;
- retain the health information system integration context in the current browser tab. It may include identifiers for the external record, clinician and patient, as well as a return URL. The record is removed when the tab is closed and treated as expired after 12 hours;
- store a technical Sentry session identifier (
sentryReplaySession) used to associate platform-performance and error-diagnostic data. It is kept until the browser session ends.
The Privacy Policy explains more about the technical data and session recordings processed by Sentry.
05 Third-party services
The website and platform obtain their fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives the IP address and technical request data, but Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Apart from the Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Sentry services described above, the website and platform do not use advertising cookies, social-media plugins or tracking pixels.
06 How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and website storage through your browser settings. If you block the platform’s necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in. If you delete vocali_td, you will need a verification code the next time you sign in.
You can change your consent to GA4 cookies through Cookie settings at the bottom of the home page.
